Omologato, purveyors of the world’s largest and finest collection of motorsport-inspired watches, and partner with some of the most iconic names in motorsport, was looking to increase its awareness and sales within the key North American market.
The Verizon IndyCar series was identified as a suitable property to reach and influence to purchase a North American consumer target market applicable to the brand.
Connexions Global Marketing introduced Omologato to the Schmidt Peterson Motorsports team in 2017, and participated in subsequent discussions between the two that culminated in a multi-year partnership that sees the brand become the “Official Timepiece Partner” of the team.
As a complement to the partnership with the team, Omologato is producing a limited-edition of 500 “Indianapolis®” watches with the full cooperation of the team, and comes engraved with the Schmidt Peterson Motorsports logo on the back of the watch.
Additionally, the brand logos appear on the cars of both team drivers James Hinchcliffe and Robert Wickens for all races, with both drivers assisting in brand activation.
